Compare cloud usage rates and cost components

The unit is part of the price

Hourly prices, prices per GB and charges per GB/hour describe different billing units. HostComparator retains the original unit and decimal precision. Very small prices remain visible instead of being rounded to zero cents before usage is calculated.

Specify usage explicitly

For a purely fictional storage rate of EUR 0.00002 per GB/hour, storing 100 GB for 730 hours uses 73,000 GB-hours. The storage charge would be EUR 1.46. The 730 hours are a chosen calculation assumption, not a guaranteed month length. If stored capacity changes during the period, your usage assumption must reflect that.

Recognize separate cost components

A published main-node price can describe compute alone. Storage, backups, additional nodes, public addresses and outbound traffic can have separate charges. Such observations are labelled component rates and receive no configured-package rank. An approximate monthly figure on a provider website is not treated as an evidenced invoice amount.

Use the calculator

Open the calculator for the price observation and enter a quantity in its stated original unit. The result estimates the charge for that component. Tax basis and unknown fees remain visible. A complete budget needs every required component with matching regions and units. Equal CPU or RAM quantities alone do not establish equal performance.
